The Role:
We are seeking an Operations Optimization Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that streamline workflows, drive accountability, and scale operational excellence across our fast-growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role blends strategic insight with hands-on execution to identify inefficiencies, lead cross-functional projects, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
You’ll be the engine behind operational transformation, rolling up your sleeves to map processes, rally teams, and delivering measurable results that support our mission and momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional improvement initiatives that enhance speed, quality, and scalability across business operations.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to identify bottlenecks, prioritize opportunities, and align improvement efforts with company goals.
- Build and manage project plans with clear milestones, owners, and timelines; hold teams accountable for delivery.
- Analyze operational data and team workflows to uncover root causes and design practical, scalable solutions.
- Facilitate working sessions and retrospectives to align stakeholders, surface friction points, and co-create improvements.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure the impact of initiatives and inform continuous iteration.
- Champion a culture of operational excellence by modeling curiosity, accountability, and follow-through.
- Document and standardize improved processes to support onboarding, training, and scale.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, continuous improvement, or program management, ideally in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, influence cross-functional teams, and drive execution without formal authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with dashboards, metrics, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with Lean, Agile, or continuous improvement methodologies (formal certification a plus but not required).
- Proficiency in business process automation tools & practices (i.e. Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier and Workato).
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to translate strategy into action and bring people along.
