The Role:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, service‑focused Corporate Travel Coordinator to manage all internal travel arrangements for our employees. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for travel booking, itinerary management, travel policy guidance, and support for all company‑related travel. You will work closely with employees across departments as well as external travel vendors to ensure travel is cost‑effective, efficient, and consistent with company policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and book domestic and international travel for employees, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and event-related travel.
- Use and administer the company’s travel platform Concur and Emburse to create, approve, or troubleshoot travel requests and expenses.
- Provide concierge‑level assistance to travelers, including last‑minute changes, cancellations, and emergency support.
- Maintain accurate travel itineraries, confirmations, and documentation.
- Monitor travel spending, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support budget management.
- Negotiate rates or corporate agreements with hotels, airlines, or rental agencies when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies; suggest improvements as needed.
- Serve as the liaison between employees and travel vendors.
- Track and report on travel metrics, patterns, and expenditures.
- Continually improve the traveler experience and streamline internal travel processes.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in corporate travel coordination or travel agency strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with travel platforms such as Concur, SAP Concur Travel, or similar booking tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially with last‑minute changes.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort handling travel disruptions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience negotiating travel rates or vendor agreements.
- Understanding of corporate travel compliance or expense policies.
- Knowledge of international travel requirements (visas, passports, etc.).
- Ability to analyze travel spending and prepare reports.
